Perhaps. It'd be like a "reverse undub" I suppose.

I couldn't give you a definitive answer either way though. It may be possible with some games and not possible with others. It'd depend entirely on how the game was localised.

This is the best I could do. Haven't tested it yet but yes most Yokai games are C2 22 13 512 type saves.

Tested the template out; the game doesn't show up on my Sky3DS. (or more specifically, when I cycle to it, the game doesn't load, like FE:IF, but I also can't cycle back to the first game after that.) Got a clue?

Of course it won't work hence why I said in the same post that it's in compete. The template is 95% complete but the mystery byte is what we lack and only something they know or can generate. Which sucks. Hence the waiting game.

That's the SAME PR bullshit they've been pulling for the last 4 months, they can't do shit about it, that's all I'm aware of, they just can't tell people how to make their own templates because then they turn irrelevant if they're unable to find a solution to the AP. They can't tell their customers that they have to come up with a new kind of cartridge either which is why they have some sort of mail template that they copy paste to everyone who's onto them.

HANS can't do anything about it because the problem is in the header of the game, even if you manage to make a ROM hack out of the game, you still need the original game to emulate it which sort of sucks for us.

I'm sorry but I'm getting sick and tired of their BS, my mistake has to be updating my 3DS, but the biggest one has to be supporting these scam artists with a lousy $120 cartridge that you can buy Gateway for half the price. I've done all I can in sending them the first 4010 bytes of every game along with the SHA1, 95% working templates and to top it off, they always reply with "soon", and then it comes out like 2 fucking weeks later when the game hype is gone or the next "Pokemon" game is out and now you're eagerly waiting for the template, but for Smurfs US? That game came out and 24hrs later it's got it's own template, last I heard from them, their reason for not giving a solo release for Legend of Legacy was because they didn't want to release it alone, and would rather bundle it with other game templates. But then look at their website for 29/10

Gateway hasn't released an update lately because what isn't broke doesn't need to be fixed. People aren't going to upgrade past 9.2 anyways. The AP check isn't a problem for them anyways since they can strip about 90% of the security checks and still have it playable and only require the emuNand to get it to work, but for people like us, it's a big deal. The template isn't really a big secret at this point since people here have stripped it to the point where they figured about 99% of how it's made but the mystery byte being something only they've worked out to sync with their carts.

I have replies from them since March, and the replies are EXACTLY the same, even to those who've posted on 3DS*blank*

Lol at this comp though. Still don't think it's a template? I've got mails dated since March where I've sent them the 4010 bytes, and everything to make it easier.

As a Sky user myself I don't see Sky Team and Sky3DS going very far. Think it will fade out in 2 years or so.

Word. I doubt it will even last 2 years, I'd give it till 2016 Q2 before all games have AP, if they haven't figured a solution already. Aside from the mistaken non AP Yokai watch, none of the AAA titles will make it to the Sky3DS and they're going to lose customers who will try to reason out shelling $100 for a cartridge that can't keep up with times.

You have a point, but they're charging outrageous amount for a cartridge who's build quality is no better than the toys you get in fucking happy meals. Gateway being another Chinese company, despite their 50% price difference with Sky, their development team is a lot more refined and *gasp* can speak better english than Sky peeps.

I too wonder about the header info as well, I doubt it even gets forwarded, one thing I know for sure, the inquiry team and the people who make templates are two different teams entirely. I say this because the people on baidu know who to mail directly with the Sky team which is why Jap ROM's get processed faster than english ones. If only you could register on baidu to read half the topics they talk about.

lol - not possible for ALL games to have the new AP... even if every title released between now and your Q2 2016 deadline has the new AP, that's still less than 3% of ALL titles for the 3ds affected by their anti-piracy.

Ofcourse Sky will sell because that's the only thing left on the market aside from Gateway. What will fade is the hype about it.

Now the only way I can see Sky surviving the next few years is releasing a new cart that's 100% updateable just like DSTWO/Plus was/is.

It's a fit mate, not an embolism, but you'd know well with wordplay if you used it right. You might not understand how difficult it is as a first world country but in most third world countries, job don't pay nearly as well as they do over there. At best what you make here in 15days is enough to get just 1 game with all the tax and customs included and survive for the next 15 days. Just ask peeps from Brazil.

I too own quite a collection of legit 3DS games, but I don't have the liberty to carry all 30+ with me in my pocket and lose it all at once, hence why I own a Sky. It's not about whining about nonsense, but rather expecting what you paid for, especially if it's massively overpriced overseas. I had my 3DS upgraded way before realizing something like Sky existed so my options are thinned out.

R4 did a really good job with the DS scene, I was hoping that their 3DS support would be on par.

I think you are making an assertion there with no basis to support it. Having done many business and engineering transactions with the chinese, they often don't understand even if you simplify sentence structure, and I am talking about dealing with highly educated scientists and engineers over there. We are talking about CSRs, hell, you know that english speaking CSRs usually don't understand what we are talking about!
