   Your PS5 console must be activated to use save copying for PS4 games.
   
   
   1. Insert your game disc and, as soon as possible, make a save file within it.
   2. Copy the save files to USB, go to [SETTINGS] > [STORAGE] > [CONSOLE STORAGE] > [SAVE DATA] > [PS4 GAMES] > select the game save and copy to a USB drive.
   3. On PC, using a Google Drive account, make a new folder with the GAME ID of your game, and upload the savedata & savedata.bin files to that folder.
   4. Share the folder, set it to editor mode, share with anyone, and click "copy the link".
   5. Join the HTOS Discord group: HERE type "/decrypt", select "FALSE" for including SCE_SYS, paste or type in the Google Drive link, and press enter. The bot should begin mounting your save. (If it doesn't, paste in the link again.)
   6. Click "ENCRYPTED" to remove the Sony PFS layer. Download the generated files and extract the folder to your desktop (you should have 4 files in there and be named dec_savedata_CUSA[GAME ID]).
   7. Using REMOTE LUA LOADER, open the savedata folder, copy the 20 files within into your encrypted save folder on your desktop.
   8. Upload the encrypted save folder (now with 24 files in) to your Google Drive. It should be named "dec_savedata_CUSA[GAME ID]" where GAME ID is your games 5 digit number, and set it to editor mode, share with anyone, and then click "copy the link".
   9. Go back to the HTOS discord server, and type "/encrypt", hit "FALSE" for uploading individually, and "FALSE" to include SCE_SYS. Finally, hit shared_gd_link and paste in your link to the original save (4 files) folder. (If it doesn't, paste in the link again.)
   10. When this is done, paste the link to the decrypted save (24 files) folder, and the bot will encrypt the files.
   11. Resign the files by typing "/resign" followed by your account name on the console, or PSN ID associated with that account if using the latest OFW.
   12. Download the resigned files, extract the files to your USB drive and overwrite them into the savedata folder on your USB or external drive.
   13. Copy the saves back to your console [SETTINGS] > [SAVE DATA AND GAME/APP SETTINGS] > [SAVE DATA PS4] > [COPY OR DELETE FROM USB] > [COPY TO CONSOLE STORAGE] > select your game save folder from the USB drive and copy/overwrite old save data.
   14. Load LUA game again, and you should see the LUA LOADER screen.
   15. You can use "SEND_LUA.PY" to send the UMTX files to the loader.
   (NOTE: Some games require manual loading of save game)
   
   On firmware up to 7.61, you can now load UMTX/2 followed by etaHEN by sending the files to your console IP on PORT 9026.

Warnings:

1: Never enable IDU mode.
If you do, you will need to enter staff mode by holding L1 + L2 and tapping this combo: circle, cross, square, triangle, right D-Pad. Release L1 + L2, and you can access settings to exit IDU.

2: Try to stay on the lowest FW possible and wait for hacks on that firmware.

3: PS5 FPKGs do not work. A hack for the A53 processor does not publicly exist to enable installing PS5 content as FPKG/PKG.

4: Installing legit game PKGs you do not own will never work, even if spoofed.

5: If you get stuck in a boot loop at the PS logo, the SNVS is corrupted (if the hash check fails on boot, this causes a “soft brick”). It’s not “bricked”. Simply reinstall your current firmware RECOVERY PUP in safe mode from USB: PS5 > UPDATE > PS5UPDATE.PUP.

Can't a lua game be used 12.00? They're probably dirt cheap now, also if you have Y2JB running, doesn't that work to unpatch the blu ray drive for your specific firmware too? I thought SWRR was only needed for newer firmwares without existing hacks in order to downgrade the BD files.

Or is there no kernel exploit to chain with those at that firmware yet?

from what I have seen looking around so far I am basically SOL without the game, can't connect to psn to buy the digital version either without it forcing me onto 13.00, did try running BD-UN-JB but got errors running it through Y2JB was told theres no chain yet so I have to unpatch my BD then can run BD-JB

tried my luck at a few rental places but no dice and I have no friends to ask to borrow it for a bit kinda leaving me with either spending that much money on it (for the money they are asking I could buy a ps5 on a lower FW) or finding a service or someone who is realllly cool and says they will borrow me the game to unpatch my stuff, but this is the internet and people are worried id disapear with the game, which I mean can't blame them, people can be arseholes

I have a PS3 with a lot of games I bought digitally on it. Its broken now. I don't even know what games I have on it. II don't even know if I still can find that account or email its associated with. I've noticed a sudden uptick in people talking about Don't Starve again, has there been some sort of development with the game? I know that there was the Prosper Together, but that's just userland access. Had something else happened since then?

Can't a lua game be used 12.00? They're probably dirt cheap now, also if you have Y2JB running, doesn't that work to unpatch the blu ray drive for your specific firmware too? I thought SWRR was only needed for newer firmwares without existing hacks in order to downgrade the BD files.

Or is there no kernel exploit to chain with those at that firmware yet?

As iggy says, only the brown stuff will work above 10.01... Lua actually works till 13.00 but you can't use the lapse above 10.01 which is a bummer hence poops (see what i did there )

How does the Don't Starve Mega Pack userland stability compare to Star Wars Racer Revenge on FW 12.70? Since I own the disc, is it a reliable entry point to pair with future kernel exploits?

Its limited to firmware 10.01 to complete a full jailbreak. If they come up with a way to link lua with poops then it would be a great as the other lua games userland. I got it too and holding onto hope lol.

I don't know about Sony limiting digital game licenses for older firmware's. I have 10.40 and most of my games right now are digital, downloaded around 12/17-20/2024 then I took it offline until like 2 weeks ago that I had to enable local connection without internet access. The system doesn't even have the option to see an expiration date. I guess I'll see in 2 more weeks.

Also, the lapse part of the jb i have to load from my PC instead of being on the PS5, did i mess it up somewhere or what happened? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you need to look into auto y2jb loader so you dont have to load from pc everytime. You also have bdjb disc option if you have a disc drive.

Sony are adding 30 day time bombs to purchases, so you need to login to PSN (aka update when needed to) to keep using them.

Updating to the latest firmware just to secure a hackable PSN game was always kinda precarious. Now it looks like all discless consoles on 12.70+ are stuck waiting for a webkit exploit since all digital app/game userland exploits got patched.

On a related note, I was looking forward to that disc pairing tool. Not sure if factory-paired units can actually lose their pairing data (like booting without the drive or doing a full hard reset/restore), but I was definitely worried about losing my slim’s pairing if a jailbreak went wrong. Hopefully there’ll be a way to restore it.

I don't know about that, I have a vulnerable console now. It sounds like Sony is on the losing end now and I truly own the game(s), in fact I don't even need to download from their servers. How nice of me.

Just checked tonight after Wrestlemania and it's official. Mine doesn't have the timebomb. As you can see, my Star Wars download was from January and it's been offline since then. No DNS, no Wi-Fi, no Ethernet, nothing. Completely offline at 12.40. So, looks like I'm okay for now. Was planning to make it legit now that I have the slim, but for now, it's back to the original plan of waiting until Wolverine or GTAVI comes out to update. Or worse come to worse, I can get GTA VI on Xbox Series X. Here's hoping something can be done to chain Star Wars on 12.40.

EDIT: Before anyone asks, I erased my IP and Serials, so I do have a set, but since I'm posting this publicly, I had them erased from the picture before uploading.

I'm ashame to say yesterday I just found out that GTA6 is coming for Xbox S/X the same time as PS5. It just sucks it's not gonna be a PC release this year. Also my star wars game was last updated January and it's safe too! Something for 12.40 should be out by the end of the year, fingers crossed.
