Noob question.
1 Activate FTP going at : h t t p s : / / ps4.editzz.net/4.74/index.html
(at the bottom of the page, clic FTP)

FTP IS NOW ON

2 Connect to your PS4 through FTP with a soft like Filezilla or whatever, add your console IP (192.168.x.xx) and add port 1337

I couldn't figure out how to do step 2. Do you add ps4 ip to host on Filezilla?

The IP is what ever IP your PS4 is on like 192.168.1.13 etc

Hi at all, i follow for years gbatemp, fresh and detail explained tutorial always, and now i'm here asking a 1 million dollar question that can interest more user. I'm not a noob but i need help from someone.
I have a PS4 on the 5.00 firmware with broken blue ray drive, the consolle need to replace the hd but obviously when i try to install the firmware i get 42118-6 error, then i can't boot to menu to inject payload for reinstall any firmware.
I've found that Orbis found a way to make a new ps4 hd recognized, but for that must reinstall any firmwar(already do) and use winhex to match partitions, and finally put the hdd in the ps4 and intialize from recovery mode.
What i don't understand is match partitions with winhex, the tutorial is very small with few details and online there is no tutorial about that procedure.
I Open the disk with Winhex i view the partition but the name differs from tutorial and i don't know how to move correctly.
There's many user in this situation and many other will be soon or later fall into, if anyone can point me to a tutorial or can explain something is really appreciated.

I managed to update with a Ps4 nobd yesterday, from 4.74 to 5.05 (bdrom out of the PS4, no ribbons, nothing)

FOR THOSE WITH ERROR SU-XXXX / CE-XXXX follow step 1 + 2 + 3

1 Activate FTP going at : h t t p s : / / ps4.editzz.net/4.74/index.html
(at the bottom of the page, clic FTP)

FTP IS NOW ON

2 Connect to your PS4 through FTP with a soft like Filezilla or whatever, add your console IP (192.168.x.xx) and add port 1337

3 Delete everything it the folder UPDATE (must be empty)

NOW UPDATE FROM 4.74 TO 5.05

4 Go to : h t t p s : / / zecoxao.github.io/

5 Clic "HEN with Notify" (a confirmation will appear at the left corner)

6 Go back to h t t p s : / / zecoxao.github.io/ and clic "Send Payload 100% Success Test"

Your screen will show : awaiting payload

7 So send your payload jkpatchsyscall9.bin (a confirmation will appear at the left corner) : you can use PS4 PAYLOAD SENDER from computer or from Android phone to send it

8 Go to Debug Setting and install the 505.pkg this must be in the root of your USB key/drive with the OFW 5.05 (named PS4UPDATE.PUP)

9 Back to your XMB, you will see a new app/game named UPDATE 5.05

10 Launch it, wait, and PS4 will restart in 5.05
