Has anyone else had the issue when converting the prx files that says:

usage: downgrade_elf.py [-h] [--verbose] --sdk-version SDK_VERSION

Nobody seems to have a solution, and I've been messing with it for over a day trying to get it working.

nope it need c drive it compiles everything in it even if I tried to use an external drive its driving me nuts since I wanna port AC7 but I cant do it since I only have a damn small ssd
Sorry i dont know why I never need to do in another drive

Have used the app on external hdd 5tb. Works with no issues.

you have a big enough C drive to accommodate the full pkg size of the game you are trying to backport

just look at task manager when you are in the repacking process now

I created the backported patch for AC7 and it works with NO ISSUES.

I know it works without issues my problem is just that I have a small C Drive so thats why im getting errors on it

@RiPPERD is there any way for the app to use other drives besides C:/

It seems I have a little space for it since I just use a small SSD on my laptop

not sure what the problem is as others run it fine... maybe you running 32bit OS?

my tool converts the prx files fine... your doing it slightly wrong though... look at the title of the pY file... downgrade "ELF" you must first convert them to elf

what version are we on now and what about the ea games you figure that out yet
ive not released new version yet... still testing but this wont be out for few hours ive got work and the kids today.

im not 100% sure what the problem with EA games is... if you send me list of prx files ill make them convert but think its the eboot.bin file thats causing problems.

this is still for full game pkg files im going to work on the update/patch pkg next but no point trying to run before you can walk lol

I seen somebody name joonie or something lole that haves a way of getting the ea games to work

FYI, Moddedwarfare released a backporter that makes a small patch from base game that only takes a min to build. Works really well. His new version supposedly does updates/patch files as well, haven’t tested.

same issues here. It uses to C drive as a temp drive while repacking even if I start backport on my external HDD that has big enough size. That's why I can't backport large games with this tool.
