https://www.eteknix.com/growing-number-ps4-users-major-update-issues/Have you got any sources?

wow this is very useful, now I shall make a random .txt document and put it in there…I'm just waiting for a 8.52 exploit btw you can use the hacking DNS addresses to block updates (even if your not on a hackable fw)
They are
DNS 1 (primary): 165.227.83.145
DNS 2 (secondary): 192.241.221.79
just set those up or stay offline

There should be a way... Sometimes PS4s survive the update, but other times they are bricked, I suggest putting your PS4 away until Sony announces 9.01.is there a way to patch the CBOMB (CMOS flaw) without updating to 9.00?

That’s great, hopefully they have fixed it now.I guess I am the lucky one, updated to 9.00 just fine, the thing does lag though, beside that no issue, was able to copy my PS4 digital games off to an extended drive, and system transfer data to PS5.
interesting since i updated to 9.00 on my pro i got those lags too even in the menus i thought it was time for a cleaning but now im thinking it could be the new fwI guess I am the lucky one, updated to 9.00 just fine, the thing does lag though, beside that no issue, was able to copy my PS4 digital games off to an extended drive, and system transfer data to PS5.
