Hi all,

strange one here and I just cant seem to find any answers. I have a dualshock 4 (Jdm-030) that just doesn't seem to work in a way, things I have noticed and done:

  • The controller shows no lights or signs of life when turning on, charging via top usb or bottom port

  • The controller is recognised when connected to a PC (via gamepad tester) and all the buttons seem to work fine. It also comes up in the Bluetooth devices list when plugged into the PS4 when connecting via micro USB. Again though, it doesn't work when i press the PS button and is greyed out

  • When pressing and holding the share & PS button it does come up as a blanked name device on the ps4 but when I click it I get an error saying the PS4 does not support it, same with the PC

  • I have replaced (and tried diff combinations) the ribbon cable and the charging port, still no luck
couldn't see anything mentioning the same issue. hope you might be able to help.

thanks
