Cheers everyone,

I was using the 9.00 Jailbreak for several days without problem, but starting today I am getting following error, when I try to start any application.

"There is not enough free space in system storage to start the application.
To start the application, you must delete another application or video clip that is larger than 268.4 MB in system storage.
If you delete multiple applications or video clips, the total size you have to delete might be larger than 268.4 MB."

So I checked my system storage and I have around 40GB left.
I also went to the debug system -> system -> show file system status
and it shows me following:

[System Storage]
total size of free zones (in bytes): 0
total zones: 6210
shared zones: 37
nonzoneBlocks: 3977120
nonzoneFreeBlocks: 1765062
totallNodes: 58868480
freelNodes: 58866889
formatVersion: 147d0000
sharedzoneFreeBlocks: 1780647
availableFreeBlocks: 1229756
blockSize: 32768

I was able to start games few days ago just fine.
I didn't install anything afterwards but now I can't start anything..

Any solution and problem explanation ?

Thank you for helping out! Cheers.

Delete games your aren't playing and invest in a bigger HDD atleast 2TB PS4 games are huge in file size.

but how come everything worked just few days ago and now there is no "free storage" ? no changes were made..
My guess is a game created more game data when you played it. Thats the only thing that would make sense if you havent installed anything else later on to get that error. Realistically your gonna want to do yourself a favor and get a bigger HDD if your dealing with a jailbroken ps4

Thanks, about upgrading the storage..
I moved back to korea and left most of my belongings behind including my consoles.
So I recently bought the PS4 Pro for the meanwhile till I can get hands on a PS5 :/
Not really worth to invest more money than needed personally.
Anyway thanks for the fast answer! Really appreciate it.

Sadly it is normal. The PS4 just takes some space probably for system files. There is nothing you can do except if you don't already have one get an external hard drive to add more games, or delete games off the internal. Mine takes 60gb, actually I have two the other takes 45 gb and I've seen where people say it takes 100. I think the bigger the hdd the more space it takes, but there may be other factors but AFAIK there is no solution. It has nothing to do with the jailbreak either even if a retail PS4 has the same thing.
