Hacking PS3

Hello, what is the easy way to mod a ps3, dose it have to be an specific software ver? What kind of ps3 shoud be? Slim? Super slim or the fat one? I just want to play games on ps3 with the hard drive or usb. Ps im new with those things.

Slims are the best for modding, a Super Slim needs extra steps to mod, and a PHAT no matter what can be downgraded and modded. Although none of this is easy. What PS3 you have and what firmware? Also it has to be 3.55 no matter what.

What patches. The difficulty is in NAND models are more difficult to read weight than NOR Models. There is Software that does the patching for you.

And no not every PS can be jailbreak... SUPER SLIMS aren't downgradeable.

Its possible, but only for reading backups of Disks, I think it was called Cobra ODE(I may be wrong tho, haven't been active I'm the ps3 community for years now)

That's true. You can mod a slim with an cobra ODE . So no Homebrew etc. Your Slim isn't supported right now for CFW. Your only option is ODE or you could try that new mod where you simply pach some files and burn the disc. Heard that works as well. You'll find it here in the PS3 Section.
