Hacking PS3 Nand (ceche01) What do I need?

Hi everybody,

I searched the internet to find a tutorial or FAQ on what is needed to downgrade my PS3 Phat with NAND, but none of it is complete or I do not understand them. Could anyone take the time to explain it to me, what I should buy if I want to downgrade from OFW (v4.70) to CFW (v3.55)?

Thanks for the reply. I have seen this tread but what I do not get is do I need the Progskeet 1.21 and a Injectus programmer or is there more?

Is there anybody who has a complete guide on how to use the Progskeet 1.21. I cannot find any good guide or guide at all on how to solder it to the ps3.

You need either the ProgSkeet, Infectus, Teensy++, Arduino, or RPi to read/write the chip. I would go for a ProgSkeet or Infectus programmer since they have better software support specific to the PS3.

Thanks cracker. I have bought the progskeet 1.2 with the Infectus programmer, but after a lot of research I decided not to anything with it.
It's to complex for me and I do not want to break my PS3.

(WTS) Because I gave up I have a Progskeet 1.2 black tar edition for sale, it has never been used. Anybody interested?
