Hardware ps3 maybe a problem need help

over xmas i was half a sleep and my ps3 turn its self on for few secs then off i was thinking it was me but my miss said it happen to day any idea why its turning itz self on for a few secs then off on its own ???

edit dont no if itz anything to do with but my ps plus ran out today

this topic can closed now i was the ps plus time was between 10 and 12 to turn on update etc
