PS1/2 PS2 Graphical Noise? (Not sound.)

This is noise relating to just what shows on a TV Display. Not an actual sound
If you don't know what noise is, its just pixels on screen that looked blurred or moving consistently when they are not supposed to, or at least intentionally.

I recently lost my phone so I can't take a picture of this, but its like for some reason when I'm on the main menu of my PS2 I can see noticeable flickers of noise constantly, specifically on the triangle button, and square.
Just curious if this was a normal problem, I have a Fat PS2 3000 SCPH and I just opened it the console up like this. Its not like game breaking but its annoying to see all the time,

I'm using AV Cords instead of composite for now until I get my hands on one, and I have heard consoles sometimes had graphical problems if they have had bad AV, HDMI, Comp, etc... Cables.

I would try a different monitor,
and possibly try a different input on the monitor.

Not an issue I have ran into.... Could be a bad cable or bad RAM.... Or GPU going bad but sine it's one area I am leaning towards cable.

I will test the cable and go from there, and different TV Monitors. The only thing I can think of is that something broke when being shipped. I could be wrong though,

Okay so it turns out, (and I don't have a SD TV or AV, at least one not on an HDTV with the option.) It could be my TV?
I'm using a HDTV and do not have any SD TV's or AV's (AV by its self or just SD.)

Has anyone used a HDTV on a PS2 and exciperenced this. I would assume the graphics would look bad as is and not have the weird effect going on.

Did you check the cables? It is quite common for that to happen with bad cables.
Also would happen when the AV shielding inside the console is not... shielding correctly.
And if you have a cold or semi-broken soldering around the video path, be it the connector inside the console or elsewhere.

I don't have any spare Sony Cables so I can't test the cable. All I did was replug all the cables back in and made sure it was fine, no luck there unfortunately. At some point I might get a new one and I can go from there.

Its not a super noticeable thing, I can only really notice the noise on the main menu of the PS2, and not really on any PS2 Games. And that's about it,
Like its not as bad as like having half of the GPU not working and getting weird corrupted textures but its just more of an a nit-pick and thus I got worried and posted this.

I will just test and get some replacement cables at some point *I'm sorry if I wasn't clear about if I did that or not, if that doesn't work I could try to verify if it works fine on a AV TV or SD TV, if further action needs to be taken I could probably go and repair it (but as always probably wouldn't get to far lol.)

If it is just a little of noise, then that is common, and it depends on the quality of cables and also the DAC on the TV.
After all those cables carry analog video, and analog signals are expected to have noise.

It turns out the AV Cables were just dirty. Honestly I had no clue
In terms of quality, the cables are fine. Ever since I cleaned them I have been having none of the issues I listed.
