Hi,
I recently bought a CECHC PS3 to play old games on and had a blast playing Klonoa for the PS1. However, Klonoa 2 crashes at a certain point in the game.
I have already found that this is a well known problem and found a config file on psx-place that supposedly fixes the crash. The problem is that I have difficulties understanding the nature of these config files and how to use them.
It seems like they are supposed to be used with the ps2_netemu emulator used by non-bc PS3s, so do they even work with the ps2_gxemu emulator that my bc PS3 is using? And if so, how do I use them? I am using webman mod to mount the iso file of the game atm. I have already tried to just copy the config file to the same folder where the iso file is and rename them so I have "Klonoa 2.iso" and "Klonoa 2.iso.CONFIG" and then just launch the game as usual, but the crash still occurs. How do I know whether the config has been loaded?
Sorry for my lack of understanding on this topic; I couldn't find any good resources to read up on it.
All the best
