I'm sorry, but I didn't read all the posts. I wanted to focus on your third question (I'm sorry if this has been answered), but my ps3 tutorials explain how to grab your ps2 saves from your ps2 to the ps3. <looks at time of post> oops.
Yes I have, lol. I mentioned managunz on this thread on my post #32. I haven't messed with it too much. So I don't really know how to work it.have you tried ManaGunZ?

How does the configs work? I want to get Battle Front II running. It loads the first stage then it crashes.i am kinda new to this as well, but i can help you with that if you need it.
ok so try to find the title ID of your game: (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ps2+battlefront+2+title+id) and search for that config in this reposatory:https://github.com/Zarh/Get_CONFIG/tree/master/soft/filesHow does the configs work? Thats what I did and it crashes still. And I made sure to keep the .iso.CONFIG fully intact in the naming.ok so try to find the title ID of your game: (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ps2+battlefront+2+title+id) and search for that config in this reposatory:https://github.com/Zarh/Get_CONFIG/tree/master/soft/files
then you name the config the same as your ISO and put it in the same folder where your iso is. For example "Mafia.iso.CONFIG".
if you can't find it then make a config file and try to load it from there
well the only thing i got left is to try this:http://www.psx-place.com/threads/ps2-config-editor-for-ps3-cfw-users-by-zar.12918/ (its used to improve compatability and make config files) sorry if i couldn't help you that much.Thats what I did and it crashes still.
