I have a pspgo, but been wanting to try Vita titles. If I put cfw would I be able to play all psx and PSP titles like the go? Or would some compatibility go away?

Also where is the best place to buy a Vita?

You can both, but I'm sure there's probably some issues here or there. As for getting a vita; best bet is ebay or some other site, unless you want to buy new, in which case just go to amazon and get the borderlands bundle or an oled edition. You want to make sure the vita is on 3.60 firmware. The colored versions ship with firmware higher than 3.60.

With the new hack that launched on July 1st (h-encore), you can now use henkaku on the latest firmware version 3.68 (as well as 3.65, and 3.67). However, only 3.60 and 3.65 support enso (permanent cfw). If you don't care about permanent cfw, and want the latest firmware, you will have to relaunch h-encore every boot-up (but it only takes like 5 seconds). Besides, how many times do you run the vita's battery to dead anyhow?

Just check out this website for more information about this: https://vita.hacks.guide/

Alright, relaunching cfw doesn't bother me, I already do that on my GO , but ultimately I want to replace my original PSP. So are the OLED models more expensive? And what's the difference?

Besides color? Oled are more expensive, have a burn in issue although I've had mine and don't have that issue at all and there are 2 varients of the oled. There is a 3g and a wifi only. The oled has an hour less battery life. The slim, has a bunch of colors, wifi only, lighter, lcd screen, less expensive and more available than an oled. The slim has an hour more battery life.

The vita can change languages, even if it's an import. Many people have Japanese vitas. I myself have one from Mexico and I switched languages to English. I think the only time it would really matter is if you are manually updating to a specific firmware. You would have to note that your vita isn't american, and use the specific files pertaining to a Japanese vita. I had to do that with my Mexican vita, otherwise it would throw an error, and there are guides detailing that and the files needed from wololo.

@Condarkness_XY is the one I listed the one with the worst battery? Honestly the burn in won't be a issue I'm not gonna leave it on hours on end or is the one I listed the one with no burn in but worst battery. I guess what I'm asking how is the battery life?

No, that is a slim, it has a better battery by at least an hour from what I've noticed. I also think it's better in standby mode, but I haven't honestly tested that very much. On average, you have a decent battery, but your consumption can vary depending on the games you play. For example, vita games you probably have about 5-6 hours. For other things like if you running emulators and running psp games, it might not last as long since you are running an emulator; still give about 4 hours anyway. I've used my vita quite a bit, and even after playing for a that long you can put it on standby mode and play it again for a couple of hours. It doesn't take too long to charge the vita either. There are also peripherals that extend the time played.

Ok thank you for your input, I might have found a white one for 100$ cad I just hope it works well and that I don't get ripped of with a broken unit. The pawn shop has no return policy

Also I noticed a few different version of microSD adapters, anyone I'm particular I should grab our are they all ok

Sori for double post, but I got that PSP, traded all my yugioh cards for it.

It's on 3.67 and I was told it was from the assassin's Creed bundle. I don't even know if it's a slim or not.

Ok I'll look into those soon, I got to save up for a microSD adapter first but I never know which to buy.

I have the XBERSTAR v5.0 and it works fine. The ones without a full plastic shell (not the ones pictured) have ejection issues. I'd also suggest buying from Amazon, since it will ship faster and be backed by them if you need a refund or get a defective product.

I bought my vita for around $50. Console came with 3 games and 2 memory cards (both 8 gb). So I modded my vita and sold those games and one memory card for around $35. On the end I paid like $15 for console, but I'm disappointed with it. I'm not into Vita games, but bought it just because remote play feature. Which horrible sux anyway. Luckly my PS3 has CFW so I still could milk some games to get running on my Vita. Like Red dead redemption, but quality is still kind a bad so on the end, as much as I paid for it, i think its worth.
