I've a PS Move Motion controller I bought second-hand long time ago. The Select-button never worked because the previous owner spilled a liquid (drink?) in it making the button corroded away. Because I couldn't return it and the game I played didn't needed the Select-button, I just cleaned and used it without the Select-button.

But now I want to try playing Child of Eden with it and it need the Select-button to start the motion control mode :(

I want to repair this controller by soldering a new button into it (the PCB is not damaged), but where can I order a replacement button?

I don't feel like I want to buy another controller just because of such a small defect. And these controllers are not cheap even second-hand :(

The circle was the place where the Select-button was. It's now empty because the button corroded away. The PCB traces are still good. I suppose the lost button was the same type as the Start one.

Hi, did you find what button/switch it is? I would like to replace mine but cannot find anything similar.

First, I'd take it off then see what the pads / holes look like. Measure the button (part sticking out), how deep is it, and the diameter.
Measure the size of the button "housing", and I guess have a search online?

Hopefully something generic from aliexpress just fits lol

Worst case scenario might be needing to make a tiny adapter pcb, that you can then put a generic pcb mounted tactile button on
