Not trying to. A lot of the games I emulate I actually own, or am actively trying to purchase. I'm just personally against modding my game systems. Only one I ever modded was my PSP, and only because it was so broken, I pretty much had to for it to be usable. And then there's our stance against piracy, which is why we'd like you guys to stop talking about ways to do that, please.
We don't want to receive a C&D letter before we even release the first episode...
How much of the game have you translated so far?
You did develop your own tools to edit the whole translation right? Can I have a little bit background information, on which files the dialogues are stored, which compression they use and so on? I would like to hopefully find similarities between this game and Ace Attorney Trilogy, which I and some colleagues are trying to translate. It would be cool if you can share your wisdom with us. Thx in advance.
Edit: If you eventually want more information about what we're capable of and already know, you can visit our thread.

Uhm, yes it is. He even has his own Wikipedia article. And the romanization checks out.Why are y'all romanizing Naruhodo as Naruhodou? There's no elongated "dou" at the end of his surname.

I'm not aware of a ど pronunciation of 堂, only どう...
You are aware that's a pun, right?
In-game itself it's written "Naruhodo" not "Naruhodou"
Of course I know the Naruhodo pun, but it's still the way it's written in-game.You are aware that's a pun, right?
You don't have to be a dick about it, I was just trying to understand.Any more experts, or was that it?
And I explained it to you, but you decided to ignore that. We have good translators working on this, what is your working experience in the field? You don't have to be a dick about it, I was just trying to understand.
I didn't ignore it, I just didn't understand why you chose Naruhodou when the name box is Naruhodo. You could have just posted that screenshot in the first place instead of being a dick, which you continue to be.And I explained it to you, but you decided to ignore that. I am no expert but It's normal to have a doubt
Even in the japanese artbook they write it "Naruhodo"

You've been impolite and disrespectful, so I answered in kind.I didn't ignore it, I just didn't understand why you chose Naruhodou when the name box is Naruhodo. You could have just posted that screenshot in the first place instead of being a dick, which you continue to be.
How was I being disrespectful when I was just asking a question and not understanding your decision? You're the one who got hostile about it in the first place. This is a valid, polite question (unlike the other), so I'll answer in kind:
There's different ways of romanizing Japanese Words and Names into latin writing. Some of those do dou, some dō and some drop the long sound and just do do.

Ignoring you now - back to topic please...How was I being disrespectful when I was just asking a question and not understanding your decision? You're the one who got hostile about it in the first place.
I wasn't fighting, I was genuinely not understanding. They became hostile first.Thank you for the explanation and nice job with the teasing video
Let's all keep calm and trust the team (no need to fight over a romanized name)
