hmm, I've tried the demo before nutting worked but it looked pimp, I cant believe that someone hasn't hacked ysmenu , moon shell and a few other program into it yet,*I wish i could code, lol*

Even if it isn't the DSTT, i'd still love
to use it as a media system, especially the cool ipod-like interface
(and the drag n drop thing, love that). It'd also be a better way
to manage files on your SD card

Question: Have you implemented mp3 playback for the first release? Or are you keeping it like that, and adding mp3 later on?(Like you've said before)

did you guys know what rudolph did with m3 sakura an other coder can do that with menudo too

the other coder who made a dldi sakura was normmatt (coder of akaio and maker of the rom-loading moonshell 2 for ak2)
i remember him saying once on irc he was gonna get it to work on ak2 when it's released

not sure if he has worked on mp3 yet but there has been a demo of soul's mPlayer circulating that plays the menudo album in mod format

Edit: don't ask for a link to it or spam soul, if he wanted you to try it out you'd have it

Was is past tense. Since menudo is still being developed, it is not the "past" yet.

If you want to help out Soul, PM him or something. If you're too lazy to, then wait. patience is the key to success.

It really is annoying to receive bug reports if your not aiming for perfection so I can see why he's working so hard... even if it is a beta, as a beta, it should be usable and have most features ironed out, the bugs you see in most beta software nowadays didn't have as many bugs when they released but as it gets developed more and more, bugs get produced because of a change in code and functions inside the code or even the API it's built on which in this case is PALib. functions inside coding libraries get depreciated everyday and replaced with newer functions that can produce the same result and when the coder updates that code to use the newer one, some other part may be broken. This is what regression is and that's why most newer beta software has so many bugs, while their first release is pretty usable and in a great deal bugfree.

Test Stage!
Freaking hell.
Public betas help release the final release because the help of the people that found the bug the developer didn't.
If your so worried about getting bug reports why did you even become a developer.

Aiming for perfection, pft..
Theres games on sale with bugs in it.
Nearly every game would have bugs in from what ive come across.
Get over it, and contuine.
