I'm trying to read up on DS programming, and have a basic understanding.

A few questions I have for people who know what they are doing;

Can I use Visual Studio 2008 (has C++ and C#) to help write out (and debug) DS programs.

Are there any good programs that help with writing DS apps/games other than Game Weaver and XtenDS (think they are pretty much the same thing)

How do I compile the code to run on my DS?

Thanks alot! There aren't alot of resources out there for programming on the DS.

yes you can use Visual Studio

And to compile code for the DS, you need devkitARM; http://www.devkitpro.org/

note: DS programming is really low level so you probably need alot of tutorials also

PA_Lib won't help you with programming in the long run. Then again, the DS isn't a great platform to begin on anyway.
Yes, that's right.
I already knew some programming, cause I learned a little JAVA at school.
So.. actually you're right...

Game Weaver? I have never heard of that one. Is it like Game Maker, but for making NDS homebrew, or is it like devkitPRO/devkitARM?
