ROM Hack Professor Layton Series: .arc files (help needed!)

So, I'm sure many of you are familiar with the .arc format used on GC/Wii/NDS, but this file is very odd, like a puzzle (pun intended).

Here's the file's hex coding, tell me if there's any way to view this image, whether it be in a tile viewer or whatever.

At the end of each .arc file, there is a text that says "Create an animation" with the file name or whatever. There are even .arj files with similar coding. Any way to open this?

I'm trying this myself too, without any luck.

I found online that .arc is an archive but I cannot open it in winrar or freearc (a .arc opening tool...).

I've also tried tile viewers etc. no luck.

Would love to see if someone has figured out how to open these files...

You guys could just use tinke, a tool made by pleonex, to open the game and search, I cannot remember if it could open .arc files, but you could give it a try.

I evently found tinke myself too, it does open .arc files but you cannot replace the images so it still isn't of much use to me
