Problems with USB loader

I'm using USB loader to load a few games from a flash drive. It's formatted correctly maybe a little slow when it loads. The issue I have is it's not immediately detected but USB loader. So it loads my wiis channels instead. A few seconds later maybe around 30 it loads the stuff on the USB drive. How do I stop it from loading on my other stuff and only load the USB drive?

fourth icon at the top of USB loader GX, click on it and select, check (wii or gamecube games at your convenience).

USB keys are known to work poorly with the wii, prefer an external hard drive and everything will be fine
