Not sure what else to do. You could try some older revisions of those d2x cios and see if there was compatibility at some point.

Does the keyboard work on other wii applications?

But you're sure you followed this part of the guide?

14.) Select cIOS : <d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii> (Alternative: beta52)
Select cIOS base : <58>
Select cIOS slot : <251>

And installed to 251?

Try the beta52s as well

It seems that nobody can help! What did I do wrong? I was askin in a bunch on forums and nobody could help me :( I just used the guide linked above on a vWii :(

It's not anything that you did wrong. These games aren't meant to run from flash drives - and every game has to be optimized to work with them. As such you get little errors all over the place that sometimes never get caught.

The keyboard isn't super helpful in animal crossing, so no one's made it a priority in these guides/even knows it doesn't work.

Either keep trying to find a vwii cios that can solve your issue, or play the game without keyboard support. Sometimes being a pirate doesn't work out perfectly. If you buy the actual game I guarantee the keyboard will work.

I bought the game and copied it to my HDD then sold the cd :( And I find the keyboard pretty useful when playing online or writing letters. Are there any other cIos installer for vWii?

It works online? I didn't think backups of animal crossing: city folk worked online for some reason.

I can't look into it more right now, but I think I would try to find an installer and cios that worked with base 38. Just make sure it says vwii.

I can try and do some more research later, but no promises I'll find anything. I'm not super knowledgeable about the wii.

Yes, you can patch AC to make it work online via Wiimmfi
I'll try
Thank you so much for oyour help :) I'll try to find a solution.
