Problems with Twilight Menu++

When I open Twilight Menu++, the upper screen is turned off while the lower screen displays the opening of the Game Boy Advance. And then both screens go dark, and it doesn't come out of it.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Thinking I may have done some wrong configuration. But the problem persists.
Does anyone else know what I can do?

That usually happens with a bad GBA rom. Try and get a clean version and try again.

Was not a GBA rom, but the GBA theme on TW++.
But i already fixed It by deleting /_nds folder and putting a new one.
