Hacking Problems with my EZIV

I can't delete GBA roms from my miniSD card.
The drive is not drive-protected, I can browse it via the EZClient, but when I rightclick on a rom, and I click Delete I can pick Yes or No.
I pick Yes, and then I can pick Try Again or Cancel....
I've tried it numerous times, still doesn't work....

Also when I try to send a GBA rom from my PC to my miniSD it says this:

I:\GBA\Mother 3(J).gba was not found.

I: is my miniSD card, offcourse it isn't there, I want to send it there!

It sounds like your file system is screwed up. You should try backing up everything you want to keep and formatting it with a tool like SD Formatter 2.0. It should solve your problems.

Whenever I try to Format it using SD Formatter 2.0 it says the drive is Write-protected.
It isn't write protected, I've tried it many times, still doesn't work.

I'm assuming that you're using a EZIV MiniSD and the SD writer that came with it.
In order to use it you need a miniSD to SD adapter. The Adapter should have a little switch for write protction so make sure that its not down. If it isnt down then push it all the way down and then back up. For good measure try blowing out whatever dust maybe in the adapter and try again.

The quickest way to find out if its write-protected or not is by creating a new folder on the root of the MiniSD.
If it allows you then it should be fine. If it doesn't then there might be something wrong with the adapter you're using.

I was having exactly the same issue with the mother 3 rom and this is what I did. It worked for me so it should work for you...

Be sure to flash Mother 3 to the NOR.

Keep going back until you see the root of the SD card when you boot up to the EZF menu. You should see a single Mother 3 rom by itself.
