Homebrew Problems with FTP client

I have been watching videos on how to install an FTP client on my 3DS but the folders that they use don't show when I connect it. The two folders that show up are named DCIM and Nintendo 3DS. I don't know what files to access in order to use the client. I am trying to use it for ultra sun and moon. I am trying to use the USUM cheat menu also. The specific folder that is used is only called 3DS in the videos. It doesn't show up on mine.

Do you have custom firmware? If not you won't be able to use the cheat menu, and you won't be able to use FTP without a means of accessing homebrew.

You can buy a flashcart for $20 online. It can install cfw with a zero percent brickrate in a matter of seconds. Also, check your sd card. Are those folders actually on the sd card to begin with?

Get a flashcart and follow the Guide. 10 min job, hard part is the patience waiting for the cart to arrive. Get this cheap cart, $10 with free shipping, works without question, and you can reuse it for DS games after. It's got a time bomb but you can get around it by using ysmenu.
