ROM Hack Problems with Final Fantasy X Cheats for the Nintendo Switch

Hello Everyone,

So it seems that I am having problems with the cheats for Final Fantasy X working. First of all I know that i am using the correct cheats as I have gotten them from Cheatslips. I also know that i am using the correct build as when I load the game up the codes are appearing in the over lay as well on Edizon. So when I go and activate the codes through the overlay the codes do nothing. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered the same problem. I have checked other games and the cheats work fine in my other games. Thank you for your time.

This would mean that I would have to update or down date my game version Which i dont think would be a problem I just have to figure out which way to go

You can simply update your txt file of the cheat you've download before and insert the new codes i've posted before.

how would i go about udating the txt file of cheat. If you are talking just putting the different build ID in place of the old build ID that won't work as the game version is different.

THerse are the SAME codes that are in the build on cheatslips. I am not talking about the title name of the codes i am talking about the actual codes

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
