U run them with burnt games, but I fully intend to get the USB pen.
Should I still be able to see the title screen of the game on my disc channel?

Yes.

EDIT: Can you see Homebrew Channel in your menu? Before you go on with the guide, try playing the game in your disc channel.

Okay, since you are going to get the USB stuff follow this guide: http://www.pothsprojects.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=991

I followed this guide there too so if you have any questions I will know how to answer them.

Remember to do a BootMii NAND backup. Your console is free of Darkcorp / cIOSCorp now!

Disregard the Note: install bootmii and DVDx later, only install Homebrew for now and install Homebrew Channel first, then DVDx (if you didn't already) and BootMii.

BootMii:
Prepare SD card
Let it install....
Start up BootMii -> Gears -> Backup NAND -> Wait for it to backup
After it is done, exit and put the NAND file and the KEY file in a safe place.

Just tried it on the disc channel, now the title screen wont show and it can't read the disc.
I will get the USB pen, but probably not for a few weeks. Got to get a family member to order it and get the money together.
So do the tutorial you suggested before? http://www.pothsprojects.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=991

I'll need to buy a new SD card to make a NAND, as this one isnt big enough. Is it okay to make a NAND on a different SD to the one you mod with?

Yes. It won't work anymore becuase now that you uninstalled DarkCorp you will be unable to boot it. USB loader is much better and faster then disc loading or you can install NeoGamma to run your burned discs.

Yes it is okay to use a different SD card (IMO better because it is more safe). Follow the guide and you will be able to play from USB and Neogamma (if you can, runs discs).

Do the guide and then try to run the disc via NeoGamma. If that works then your drive is an old one and eventually you can run ALL your burned disc with Neogamma.

And I can now delete EVERYTHING off the memory card? There is nothing I have to leave on it?

What? Don't delete the stuff in the memory card. You need it to run the apps for Homebrew.

Are you done with the guide I told you to do?
Did you try running your game through NeoGamma?

I was looking at this guide
http://www.pothsprojects.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=991

I mean, can I delete my current stuff off the SD card, and put the downloadable files on the tutorial on it instead? Or is it a different part I need to start from?

OH. Yea delete the current stuff and then use the tutorial.

Since you already have cIOSx Rev19 in your app folder use that to update your IOS249 Base IOS37 AFTER YOU ARE DONE THE GUIDE.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry, my internet connection has been playing up for days now and I havent been able to get online.
I started the tutorial - put all the new files on the SD card, but everytime I try and access my SD card on the system menu it crashes.

Right, got to section 1.b and after I load IOS15 I get code and stack dumps.

Backup all your files and reformat your SD card to FAT32 and see if that helps. Do it before you start resoftmodding. If it still gives code dumps, try again.

EDIT: I forgot you are on 4.2E. Use this instead: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=7331

Right, will do. By the way - the link is for filetrip, no particular file though.
And does it matter that I had already started the softmod? Installed homebrew etc.

Right, downloaded TBR, I put the TBR file in my apps...does the sourcecode folder go in the apps? Plus, do the following IOS (which came in the tutorial you sent me to before) need to go to the wad folder, instead of the root of my SD?

The sourcecode doesn't need to go anywhere. The IOS you download need to be in the root.

If you are still getting the error do the first part again. After that if you still have that error, you have already downgraded it when you installed DarkCorp.

Move to step 2.

Right, am now at section 4, installing Custom IOS 222 on 222/223 installer...and it's really not there.
I could try the cios 222 installer?

What do you mean it's not really there?

When I go onto the cIOS 222/223 installer v4 and Custom IOS 222 I cant find it. I scroll along...202, 249, 250, 254 are there. Along with Ios 9 - 70. But there is no 222.
There is cios 222 installer, should I try that?

Or, maybe I misread the instructions in section 4. Do I re-select 249 and THEN custom IOS 222?
