Homebrew problem with wiiegine

I'm using a 4gb scandisk ultra 2 SD card , when i boot up wiiengine it show I have 0 free disk space and i cant select any game, same goes with my usb harddrive the only thing i can do is exit the emulator, I do have alot of free space on the card, But when i use my 1 gb mirco SD card I was able to boot up a game. Is just because its not compatible with my 4gb sd and hardrive? Has anyone encounter this before?
