Hi i have a problem and im not sure what to do. Yesterday I installed cios rev 10 and usb loader 1.5 and evrything was great. My wii right now is the softmii package 2.1.1 with cioscorp on 3.2 u. All my backups always booted up with no problem from the disk channel until today when I used the wii to load games onto the usb loader. I loaded about 8 games from the disk onto the laoder from my wii and now when I try to run any backups from my disk nothing happens the disk just keeps spinning. Only the last three backups I made work The backups all worked before I loaded games onto the usb loader. Oh and all my originals work. Is it a problem with my wii lens? Thank for any help

rev10 seems to give problems to people with softmii, I've seen around the mention of a new cios 11 for the next softmii package.
Best bet for now use gamma loader from HBC or run all games from USB until the fix.

Yeah thought that to so reinstalled rev9 and same problem so I dnt know maybe rev10 messed up cioscorps or something or lens
Yeah I just tried unplugging the USB an booting the games with gamma and still no go. It resognizes the game after about 1 minute but when it boots it it's say "this disk can not be read." Could have ripping 8 games to my USB from the wii jack up the lens that bad? Its only a year old and isn't really played that much. Is it hard to replace the lens any guides anywhere?
like 3 backups work the last three I made. All others stoping working. Yes and originals work. No backups will not copy to hdd from the wii
Yeah the 3 that work play in gamma and with cioscorps from disk channel haven't tried em with USB.

Either your older games were patched ,Bad Condition or bad media.
Are your DVD's a different brand from the ones you are using now?.

There all the same brand of DVD r-. All of my backups worked perfect before I started using the USB loader and there not patched to anything. There condition is fine because they are never really used too much. I could reburn them and they'll probably work cuz I had the same problem with my old modded xbox. It would only play my newest burn games for like 3 day and then they stop. Once I replaced the DVD drive it's been perfect since. I just don't see how ripping 8 games from wii can mess it up that bad it's not that old and not heavily used like my xbox was. If it's something else with firmware would the backups work with modchip cuz I could order one and install it I guess? Do those lens cleaning kits work well? Is there a guide to replace the lens or do u have to replace the whole drive?
hmm maybe their memorex brand. shld I buy verbatim? How do they go bad When there not used? they just wear out like that. they've only been put in the wii twice at most. Shldnt they last longer then that? Some of them weren't even burned but like a week ago. So what best route go from here? New brand disk? Lens cleaning kit?

I would try getting a good media DVD-r like Verbatim and see how it goes from there. If your still having read problems after that could well be hardware trouble, but from the sounds of it looks like media problems. Memorex are crap cheap DVD's anyway and I am surprised they even work.
Also which you prob already know keep our burn speed low like 3 or 4x

But your problem seems very odd. Hmm, usb lan adapter? If yes, change the network settings to wireless.
alright I'll try verbatim see if it works. I'll just load up my games from pc onto hdd and play em that way. It's still just weird to me it all went to crap right after I installed with USB loader oh well. Thanks for yalls help!

Why don't you burn your backups back to your pc with Imgburn if you don't have the ISO files and Use WFBS to install them on your HD. I never use Backup loader anymore.
Also ppl say gamecube controller, gc memory card. Take out. To be honest I never ever unplug mine and I have never had any problems.

Yep they are alwyas burned between 2x and 4x I always test em right after to and always played fine. Yeah it's not LAN adapted cuz I dnt have one always use wifi with wii connect 24 off. Yep and don't have any gamecube memory cards or controllers ever plugged in. I guess I'll just have get em on hdd from pc. It's just annoying to me I hate when everything is not working kinda of a perfectionist with things not working.
