Homebrew Problem with safehax

Okay, I'm using the guide over at 3ds dot guide and am having a problem.
Using a 2DS running 11.2.0-35U if that matters.
I've downloaded everything correct and have done everything correct.
I'm just at the page now that involves safehax and fasthax. So, still early on in the process.
I run fasthax and everything goes the way it is supposed to go, I guess.
I'm now trying to run safehax, and I get the error: "Failed to read the ARM9 Payload"

What am I missing here?

Have you do Step 5 ?
Copy Decrypt9WIP.bin from the Decrypt9WIP .zip to the root of your SD card and rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to safehaxpayload.bin

also, try to enable "view file name extensions," you might have renamed Decryp9WIP.bin to safehaxpayload.bin.bin

Good lord, the file name was wrong. The bin was wrong. I remember specifically changing the name, but it must not have taken.
Doh.

Another quick question.
On my O3DS XL, running 11.0.0-33U, some of my games require an update. But of course, I have to update the system in order to update the game.
If I update my system now, will I still be able to inject games? Or has that been fixed?

Nah, it's safe to update. Though if it's not hacked yet I'd recommend doing that first, update the system, then take care of your games.
