Hi, i am new here and my friend actually told me about this place he said if u need help with anything you can come here. I got the Acekard 2i and i ready did the firmware update to make it work with DSi 1.4 (Danny phantom really couldn't find anything better) anyways i got my Micro SD- SDHC its 8Gb and i am using the USB thing that comes with AceKard which is made to read the Micro, and i no it reads it because if i don't put the Micro SD in the back its wont show anything on my comp but when ever i try to copy any files on the Micro SD its wont let me it just keeps showing that thing that it shows when its copying files but it never moves or anything. PLEASE help i want to put the firmware on it so i can play already. What is wrong?
The card reader is most likely bad. The ones that come bundled with flashcards are known to not be the best quality (or even decent quality). Sometimes they work, other times they don't. I suggest trying another card reader and see if the problem persists.
Does the adapter support SDHC cards? That could be why it doesn't recognize it.
Edit: While you won't need to format it, it is suggested. Use the Panasonic SD Formatter.

If the same thing happens with both readers, your microSD card could be jacked up (broken). Do you have another card you can test with? Or even another computer? Just trying to eliminate all the possibilities.
yeah in my other computer the its wont recognize my adapter, and my laptop doesn't a place to put it in, and for the usb reader that came with the acekard, its recognizes it on my laptop but not my other computer.
Well, let's see. Do you have a camera or a phone you can try it in?
Having both readers not let you copy files to it leads me to believe you either have 2 messed up card readers OR your microSD card is dead. You said it opens the "folder" for the card when you insert it, can you format it?
Not really much more I can do to help. Running out of options, but, we can pretty much narrow it down to a dead card or two dead readers...I'm leaning towards the former.
How did you get the update file on the microSD card? You would have needed to copy it and then run the install (from my understanding anyways).

Just keep using the process of elimination and eventually you will get to exactly what your issue is. I have, pretty much, told you what everyone else will tell you here. We know it's either the readers or the card. Now you just need to figure out which it is.
