Homebrew Question Problem with HBG shop 8.1.0

can i use undershop and hbg together and whats the difference between em?

I don´t know what undershop is, can you tell me?, maybe it is a good alternative to HBG.

By the way, HBG again stopped working?, the trick does not work anymore..... Any other solution apart from installing the atmosphere that tifoils asks for?.

just press y if you aren’t using hekate / kosmos.

How can I check if I am using Hekate / kosmos?. If I press y, I assume that it will delete my atmosphere and will try to install Neutos, right?

I don´t know about undershop, but I have seen some videos and I guess that it is the same as HBG. Partyshop only has the first party games, as far as I know, right?.

Anyone has been able to make HBG work again without having to install it´s version of atmosphere?.

I followed this video to do the procedure for the CFW, Am I using hekate and kosmos?.

Supposedly, some people have had an issue trying to run NeutOS while they already had a corrupt prodinfo. Other than that, the consequences will be that you no longer need to patch your CFW as sign patches are built-in, you won't need to run incognito because your prodinfo will be hidden by the CFW, you can't use hekate, can't dual boot SX OS, and Tinfoil will unlock cover view + few other extra features.

Please I would apreciate if you could tell me the steps to follow. I know taht there are some risks of going to neutOS instead of using the oficial atmosphere, but for me it is a very big disadvantage not to be able to install the backups from the internet.

Well, I haven´t tried it yet, but it seems that this solution could work:

tinfoil only checks for the presence of certain files / folders.

just rename the kosmos folders with goldleaf before starting tinfoil and everything works (remember to rename them again later)

The solution has been reported by the user Pleasant_command in the forums of reddit.
I will try it this afternoon.

Correction:

/Bootloader folder is in the root of the SD
/kips is under atmosphere folder.

Rename both folders with whatever you want, I used _ in the begining of the name. Then Tinfoil opens perfectly and you can use it normally.

When finish, go to goldleaf again and put the names back as they were, and thats it.

For me it is a definitive solution.

Well well well, I bring you good news, at least they are good for me. A user in reddit has made a great homebrew app that renames automatically the folders needed to be able to use tinfoil.

Way it works: You open the app from homebrew menu, if you press A, the folders Bootloader and atmosphere\kips are renamed with a _ just before the name. And the app says that the system is "wrapped" in order to use tinfoil. If you press again, it renames the folders back to the original names and it says that the system is "unwrapped".

So the procedure would be:
-Enable wifi
-Go to hombebrew menu, open the app, press A so it says wrapped, then + to exit the app.
-Go to main menu of switch and open tinfoil, it will load perfectly fine.
-After using tinfoil, exit to main menu, go to homebrew menu, open the app, press A so it reads "unwrapped", and exit with +
-Exit homebrew menu.
-Disable wifi and enjoy.
