Hacking Problem with GBA Expansion Pack

Yeah I'm not sure why but for some reason my M3Real tells me there is no GBA Expansion pack in the DS when I try running my GBA games, when it is in fact in the GBA slot. It was working fine before but now it just keeps giving me this error. I've already tried reformatting my SD card just in case that was the problem but to no avail. Any ideas as to whats wrong?

Please try recharging the Expansion. Leave it inserted while you charge your console overnight.

Yes, what mr G6 said, but when I first got my M3 Real Perfect bundle my GBA Expansion worked fine. O_O
