Im trying to get custom firmware on my switch and i think im doing everything as it is in guides (using switch homebrew guide) and I cant seem to get it right. What ive done so far:
- I checked that my switch is exploitable (XAJ400228xxxxx, so everywhere it shows as ok)
- Grounded pins 1 with 10 on the right joycon (got the 3d printed thingie so it should be all fine)
- Powered off my switch
- Tried turining it on when grounded with Volume up + power (nothing happens so i understand the bridging is fine)
- downloaded TegraRcmGUI and installed the driver
And here starts my problem, because when i try to plug switch to PC with USB cable the switch just turns on. And guide tells me to go back to accessing RCM. I tried the bridging with tin foil, with clipper and now with 3d printed jigg. Tried both pin 1 and 10 as well as 10 and 9 and my switch always turns on when connected to PC. Theres probably something im missing that the guide doesnt state or that i missunderstood since im not really an expert in any of this. Would love to get some help, thanks
