Hello, The top screen on my kid's ds lite has started to display in a very low colour depth. The only thing I can compare it to is when you have the basic VGA driver installed in Windows and it displays in 256 colours. Yeah, real ugly. In Windows, this would probably be more of a driver problem than hardware problem. With the ds lite...?? Does anybody know whether this is likely to be a screen problem or if it would be a main board problem? I don't want to get a replacement screen if that is not the root of the problem. And would it really be worth sending off for repair (£25-35+ in the UK) if I can get a brand new one for not that much more (or maybe even go for a DSi XL)? Apart from the colour depth problem, I don't think there are any other faults with the top screen. It is not cracked, there are no dead/bright pixels, or vertical black lines. Many thanks for your 2 cents.
