Hacking Problem when upgrading sd card

Hey guys I'm trying to switch out sd cards I had a micro sd 32 gb that was in my 2ds that broke and i wanted to use that with my o3ds. (both running cfw) i looked on here and it said i just need to copy files from one sd to the other the card is in fat 32 format. Took me 6 hours to transfer all the files from one sd to the other then when i put the 32 gb in my o3ds and try to boot it up its just stuck on a black screen?

I threw away my 2ds cuz the same thing started happening with that i turn it on and just a black screen. now im thinking something else is wrong and 2ds may have never even been broke in the first place. But the computer recognizes the card no problem so i dont understand

You can't use the files from one system on another unit, they are encrypted.

So the files in the SD you are using does it belong to the 2DS or the O3DS? Thought you were trying to copy file from 2DS to O3DS. Did you used any emunand?

I'm not copying anything from the 2ds. I deleted everything off it and was transferring the files from my 03ds

For card 64 GB and larger you needs to format it FAT32, 32kb cluster and primary partition using Minitool Partition. Does the system boot without the SD card?

Most likely you are just missing the boot.firm from the root of your SD card since that causes black screen on boot or something along those lines. Post a screenshot of the root of your SD card if you do have boot.firm on there already and it's still not working just in case there's something else that's wrong.

Hey I just got home and tried and it still gives me a black screen on boot

The files work perfectly fine on the 16gb sd card it's only when i move them to this one that this happens i dont get it.

It's a 32Gb micro SD card. I think I'm just going to give up on this sd card and buy a new one lol.

the 32gb micro sd card was previously working fine on my 2ds i literally have no idea what happened to this thing.

32GB by default you don't need to format it, do you remember ever using any emunand? Try the minitool thing I posted earlier

If the card is set as logical it won't work, it needs primary partition, and if you are using emunand, then it doesn't work either, it won't load the emunand.

Also the card might be bootleg, if trying Minitool Partition it doesn't boot into the NAND, might wanna try HWTest on the 32GB SD card

Not for if you used an Emunand, anyway boot into the 16GB one, what does it say under system setting SYS or EMU?
