Update October 13th, 17:16 GMT

I will be releasing an updated version tonight (before 10pm GMT, perhaps earlier) and a full installer. Sources for both will also be included, in line with GNU GPL v2 Licensing regulations. I have addressed a number of issues in this thread, so hopefully this will be my final 0.30 release. The installer is also capable of removing preloader (including any previous versions, leaving no garbage on your nand and will completely restore the system menu without the need to reinstall. It will also upgrade previous versions.

will existing system menu hacks need an update to work with this new .30 ?

The hacks are to the System Menu itself not pre-loader. Current Hacks.ini files should work fine.

Hope your not upset Daco, the Wii community thanks both you and phpgeek!
im not, i just wished i got informed about this cause this opens alot of ways for me as i quit editing cause i couldn't install it for testing (lack of knowledge)

well, phpgeek is releasing source code for the installer in approx 3 hrs and you can go nuts!

The more minds working on it the better, if I had more programming knowledge I'd be right on the front lines too! Instead, I'm prepared to be one of the many bootmii boot2 beta testers!

Lol, at 10pm GMT, it'll be like 3pm for me lol

And I would never test a bootmii boot2 test... Too dangerous..

FYI, phpgeek mentioned when he posts his final installer, he will be starting a new thread. So keep your eyes peeled, and if someone notices its up can they plz post a link to it in this thread?
Yeah, ill be hanging around this thread for a while..

If it has posts very often..

Thanks Crediar, phpgeek, and Daco for protecting our wiis with your hard work. It is greatly appreciated.

phpgeek can we see a full changelog also please?

Can the HBC auto detection be passed to the bootmii team so they can use it to?

I'm boot2 and ready to test also (will have to find time though).

One person said the HBC auto detection of booting HAXX and JODI HBC worked (but he also called JODI JOBI, I'm not sold on this as solid proof).

I plan to upgrade my HBC to JODI 1.0.6 if this preloader .30 works.

I also request someone to make some videos of this so we can see it in action.

Thanks!
