Hardware Power supply for $40

I was originally gonna go with a $80 PSU, but now I have to go down to $40 because fucking PayPal limited my account with $100 on it. I submitted all the documents and am using 100% legit information but they still decided to not lift it. There's thousands of stories like this. but anyway, I need a PSU to power my build for $40.

I currently have a 430w PSU, but I'm unsue of the brand or if it's any good.

Is this low wattage pushing it, or will it be plenty for my build? I won't need to worry about my graphics card getting ruined?

More than enough for an 8320/960 setup.

It's not like you have a choice though unless you increase your budget. It's going to be either a decent, lower wattage supply or something rated higher, that is junk, won't supply anywhere near the rated, and if you are unlucky, die and take stuff with it.

From a quick look, most power consumption benchmarks put the 8320 at around 190-200W (from the wall I think, psus arent 100% efficient, so actual load on them will be lower). That's with heavy load of cpu only, but is still the total system draw.
Highest I've seen any benchmarks putting the 960 is 160W.

So yeah, you could get away with a 430W if it was a decent brand as well. Although just a guideline, http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator also shows a 430W would be fine for that system.

I wouldn't trust a generic one though, regardless of what it says it's rated at.
