Online gaming like MMO games? If so then yes.
iirc MMO games nowadays use 4 and more cores so the 8 core one is gonna be pretty good.
All in all, the PC is enough to run the games that come out nowadays but you won't be able to Ultra or even High some of the new games (on high resolutions).

Im talking about real games like The Witcher 3, MMOs are low on the GPU so he will max them out most of the time.

With a 760, witcher will run higher than a pathetic 30fps. Playing with a better FPS is much better than having the highest settings. medium to high settings, around 40 minimum in loaded areas, up to 60 at empty ones.

760 is capable of playing maxed out at 1080p resolution on average games. The 770 maxes out anything up to around 1400p. Witcher 3 is a bit different because it's not the most optimised game that's come out recently. Also, say no to the hair physics - that just kills any graphics card.
