Hacking Power Button Doesn't Work

I own a DSi XL. It's working perfectly fine but for some odd reason, the power button doesn't work.

It worked before, obviously, but it just stopped working. Any ideas?

EDIT: I soft reset to type this message. It seems that although it was at the menu fine, it's now crashed and although power is on, nothing works. So, I'm going to wait out the battery to see what happens. In any case, has anyone encountered a similar issue?

EDIT2: Okay, it started to work randomly so I don't think it was a hardware issue.

Well, you can always replace it if it's under warranty (which it should be).
