I had my father install a RP-2040 in my V2 switch, because my soldering skills are very bad. But my father did a great job. No bridges everything was good. But it just stopped turning on afterwards, I did insert a rcm jig into the rail (Thats probably what ruined it, im a noob) We have tried to replace the battery, flashed the chip, and the chip does light up but the switch just does not turn on anymore.

If you are booting into RCM mode, the screen will not light up. Try hooking to PC with Usb cable, and use TegraGUI to see if it is indeed in RCM mode.

rcm jig wont do anything on a patched device. A good job from your father should have at least boot to OFW despite rp2040 works or not.
Take some picture where the job are done on the board.

Patched consoles can still enter RCM. They just cant accept payloads.

As noted you don't want to enter RCM with a V2/Oled/Lite and a modchip. Was the chip installed with a QSB or bare wires? Show pictures of the install. V2 is dead simple with a QSB, and not terrible with wires since the EMMC is removable.
