Simply create a txt file on your pc and open it with notepad. In it, add the text /nands/nand1
Either make it follow by a space character or simply hit enter once to go to the next line.
Save that file, and rename it to nandpath.bin. Copy it to the sneek folder, either on harddisk for uneek2o or on the sd card for sneek2o.
If you can't seem to figure it out, just let me know and I will send you one.

For some reason, if you use nandpath.bin, sneek will update nandcfg.bin with that folder as default one... but it isn't a big problem...

That's correct. This was done to 'not break' the nand selection in the neek2o overlay menu.
The path in nandpath.bin is added as extra entry in nandcfg.bin, so it is also selectable from the overlay menu nand selection. I should have informed you about that. If the path already exists in nandcfg.bin, it will simply select that nand in it.

Ok, here we are... this is a release with huge enhancements... could be a postloader4 :P

postLoader 3.63.0

* Much better page transition
* Play count should be recorderd now also for dml
* Go To Page works again
* fixed: If your last page is completely full, there will be an empty one created too.
* Much more reliable cover cache system
* Now pl uses nandpath.bin instead of recreate a nandcfg.bin that causes "confusion" to neek2o. Also make backup and restore nandcfg.bin
* Added a confirmation before executing any items
* Corrected an huge memory leak introduced with version 3.61.2 in homebrew mode

this is really weird I set nandpath.bin to nands/pln2o in order to make it the default channel, Neek2o channel >PL3 loaded (since neekbooter is installed in priiloader) >PL shows nand1 (my real nand is nand1!!) I quit to system menu then I find myself in pln2o nand!!!!!
I'll test 63.0 now and see what happens...

@[member='AbdallahTerro'], to have all back again in the right place in /sneek folder, you must return to postloader in real mode. So you should install priibooter_gui.dol in priiloader in real nand.

stfour, the new solution forces users to boot to pln2o nand when they use the neek2o channel and you don't want that.
If someone has his own nandpath.bin its being replaced now with yours!!!
instead you should backup nandpath.bin when neek2o mode is used and restore it in the end (this is really hard cause if something goes wrong the original nandpath.bin is lost)

A better solution is to make neekbooter use seperate file to load the pln2o nand

one more thing the change usb nand option is not working (error message about missing dols and .dir file) in v63.0

The only thing I can do is to restore the sneek folder when from the game return to menu. But If you shutdown the wii during a gameplay, the /sneek folder will remain "touched" until you restart neek (and your wii will reboot one time) or return to postloader. There aren't other possibilities.

Can you describe better the error ?

In my case I want the neek2o channel to take me to nand1 where all the games are. so my nandpath points to this folder.
I use the pln2o nand only for those games that have issues and only run in sneek.

I want to use PL3 in real mode and only use neek2o mode to launch those titles.

when I run a wiiware in neek2o made now nandpath points to pln2o for good hence messing up the neek2o channel

The solution is to have a file called for example pln2onandcfg.bin that run pln2o nand executed by force when neek2o mode is started without touching the original nandcfg and nandpath.bin files

I wish you luck :)

The better solution is to change the neek2o channel dol, and have it set the nandpath.bin to the nand1 before it launches neek2o.
Maybe my (your) bootneek could be used for that? I haven't tested it from a channel. As it get's it's nandpath from the xml file, it should work I guess.

@AbdallahTerro: Now it will mess nothing. The works case, if you don't return to postloader, is that neek2o execute pl2o nand, you can easily change the nand from postloader option menu or from system menu. These are the rules... if you don't like this way, don't use it. I can't change sneek behaviour. Postloader is intended to be started from priibooter_gui or neekbooter (under neek) under priiloader. Only in this way you can fully benefict of it ;)

Can you give me more information on this ?

I think that the best way to close that matter is to add to neekbooter the capability to restore /sneek folder as postloader do in real nand. It will just require to press [home] during game play and then select "return to menu". Doing this, neekbooter is called again and can do it's job and reset the wii to return to (real) system menu.

postLoader 3.63.1

* neekbooter 1.1: when channel from real nand is executed via neek2o, on "return to menu", /sneek folder return to it's original state and wii rebooted
* added a new download site for covers

I figured out an easy solution,
stfour you're right the problem should be solver by changing sneek behaviour.
The easy way is to make a dol for the neek2o channel that first checks for a file called for example nandchannel.bin (highest priority) which will be a txt file with the path of the nand we want to use with the channel.
However if this file is present nandcfg.bin should remain untouched. neekbooter can now use nandcfg.bin OR nandpath.bin to do the trick.
obcd time to do a test dol now ;)

postLoader 3.63.2

* Again it seems that mp3 playback can hang postloader in some situations. Added a semaphore for cover cache thread.

i've been wanting to say something since you started talking about nandpath. an the way pl3/neek2o have been working for me.
when i started using them both together, i never got rid of my nandpath.bin.. i never touched it.( every time i do it breaks my set up.)..
i havent updated since neek v64 (no need for dml).. an i think i just updated pl3 to the newer one for me ( had to redo the themes)..
mine works fine, an returns to pl3 after i leave the game. this set up also allowes me to leave neek2o back to main nand, an then back to neek2o. with no problems ( goes to last nand open).
the channel is what i use to enter neek2o.( i only have pl3 set up on my nands). so it boots right into pl3. granted i don't have a butt load of vc/wii ware games. but they all work with neek2o fine.

Any news? The problem will be solved if the channel dol can have an ini or bin file that has priority over the nandcfg and nandpath.bin without touching them...
PM any dol to test if u like :)

I have just transferred all my files to a 3TB drive now that there is getting to be more compatibility with them however when I try and rebuild the Wii Games List I get a stack dump now the reason that I think it is something to do with the drive is because if I perform the same function from my old 1TB drive with exactly the same files it works perfectly.

Interesting the games will load from the menu perfectly I just can't rebuild the list I have tried setting default loader as Wiiflow/Config/GX and the same no matter which option. Also I have tried running postloader from various combinations of SD Card/Homebrew Channel and still the same result.

Below is my system spec if it helps and if you want any further info (more spec info/Screenshot of stack dump/other) then just let me know :)

Launch EU Wii System Menu 4.3
Postloader running from USB via priiloader autoboot
3TB Hitachi XL3000 USB2 External Drive Formatted as Fat32

I do have 2 partitions on the drive at the moment but when I have moved all the files off the second partition I intend to drop back to a single fat32 Partition so will give an update when I have done that over the next couple of days.

And lastly thanks stfour for the great program
