It never worked in the first place. But finding your coordinates is one of the easiest things to do in hacking
That's what I thought, until I tried to find splatoon's coordinates. I'm still baffled/slightly annoyed that they aren't easily found. I found the camera coordinates, the gamepad's touch coordinates, and even some coordinates for the inklings in the plaza walking around. But player coordinates? They always seem to escape me lol.

Meh. I can't find any cheats in Virtual Console Games installed via wupinstaller. :/
Also used the latest codehandler and tcpgecko elf. I tried it with 2 games, never found codes.
Does somebody know the best range to find codes for Virtual Console?

Why not? The model replacing certainly would be possible, it's just no one cares to figure it out. The extra costume select would likely not work though who knows.

Oops, just noticed I should've said "not possible right now" but it was late and I was tired. Anyway,

Custom models are a very very slow work in progress right now. MK8 modding has low supply but high demand because 90% of the people who have an interest in modding the game don't know how to make tools and code things. We're getting there though.

Costume slots for other characters is nowhere near possible at the moment but given the types of things Bean and Chadderz have added to MKW through modifying / adding their own code I'm sure it'll be possible one day. It's just that, as far as I know, we're not close to digging that far into the game's code and we don't have a Bean/Chadderz of MK8.

@DarkFlare69 I saw your youtube video of the Matrix Slowdown. I am wondering how does it achieve this slowdown? Does the code reduces the frame rate or does throttle the CPU back/forward? That has to be a rare find by accident.

Yes, you can use code with VC games. However, I'm only experienced with NES games, so there might be a discrepancy or two, range-wise.
The range that works best for NES VC games is 0x10000000-0x11000000. I have only tested this with one game, so that might not be true for all NES VC games. As for other games, you're probably going to be looking for another memory range.
This has only been tested for Punch Out (NES). For everyone who has Punch Out, here are the codes I've found for the old codehandler:

Yeah it was sorta an accident. I had an intention to see what doing this would do, but I didn't know it would effect everyone online. It leads the game into an infinite loop and causes your framerate to decrease. It's very interesting how it causes everyone's game to slow down, especially in live view too.

When DFlare was testing out matrix slowdown and I joined his WW, I noticed that the effects of it were dampened on my console. It appears that the faster your internet is, the less of an effect the code has. This is due to the fact that the console is constantly grabbing information from the servers, therefore the refresh rate will be higher. Also, it may be possible to limit or stop the loop by changing additional subroutines that the system uses for loops such as these. This may affect in-game performance, but the slowdown/lag effect is completely diminished.
