Hey, just wondering how codes like the bottom one here are used? This one for example is for Sonic Lost World, which I recently got the USA version of in a trade at a local pawn shop.

I'm assuming this is for usage in Cemu, though I'm not 100% sure.

how do i find my wii u ip adress???

I really tried to make my own cheat on Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on Cemu, but there's only so much I can do with Cemu's memory editor, and the Cheat Engine isn't interacting properly with Cemu as it runs.

The cheat I'm trying to make is freezing the timer in Time Attack mode (I know it's not required but it's nice to have!! so don't bug me about that)

So far all I found with the memory viewer were the 16/32-bit digit viewers that show and display the individual digits in the seconds column (ones and tens), but changing or freezing those does not alter the actual time at all as it counts, even after you complete a level.

Timers on Wii U are usually the number of frames elapsed, either in hex or float. You need to search unknown search, then search greater than until there's only one seemingly valid value. Wii U games are usually 30FPS or 60FPS. You'll want a value that 's between either (seconds elapsed * 30) and ((seconds elapsed + 1) * 30) or (seconds elapsed * 60) and ((seconds elapsed + 1) * 60).

Cemu's memory editor is too simplistic, it only lets me search exact values. This is what it is:

I tried using the Cheat Engine and selecting the "Cemu.exe" process while the game is running, and I'm following your guide, searching for values between the number of seconds, multiplied by 60 since it's 60fps, but I don't think Cheat Engine is picking it up, and I'm searching float values.

Hey, been awhile since I was last here. I found this code somewhere on this thread:

Paper Mario™: Color Splash [CNFE01]

HP (Health) 999/100 [Jingles]
00020000 4E2A2E64
000003E7 00000000
00020000 4E2A2E68
000003E7 00000000
D0000000 DEADCAFE
#first bold value is your current HP
#second bold value is your max HP

Any chance someone could modify this into an Infinite HP code so I won't lose any HP during a fight? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! 👍

EDIT: I could try to hack this on my own, but I would still appreciate any help! 🙂

Super late, but do you happen to still have these codes? Or has anyone made an archive of codes posted on that now-defunct Wii U Codes website?

The only codes I can find for this particular game are for the US version. Outside of this thread, the only place I could find cheats is this repo:

In addition to this, could it be possible to make a code where you could easily win the Rock, Paper, Scissors games at the Roshambo Temples? Not sure how I could go about hacking a code like that, but maybe someone here could help?

I have a saved game with all areas open. I can provide it for help if someone can tell me how to extract it and share it here. 🙂

does anybody know the memory adress for coins in nintendo land so i can change the coins?
or does just anybody have a cheat code?

I edited the first post. Apparently the Game ID was wrong lol.

So, I did some initial searching for an Infinite HP code. It's clear that a pointer search needs to be done but I'm having trouble. I followed directions from videos by BullyWiiPlaza on YouTube and used Universal Pointer Searcher, but sadly comparing between dumps yielded no results.

I'm gonna stop for the night, but before that I can share my findings if anyone wishes to tackle this for me. If you use the code above to get Max Health, I found that during battle the value for 999 HP is 4479C000, and from that I found that 1 HP would place the value at 00004000. So say you lose HP and are about 996 HP; that would place the value at 44790000.

I hope this helps. I'll try again another time but if anyone wishes to help me out, that'd be great!

This is incorrect. 1 HP would be 3F800000.Those values are floating point. 00004000 is an INSANELY tiny fraction of a number. Far less than 1, almost zero.

Okay, I guess I was wrong on the starting point where HP actually begins. There's still a lot for me to learn about this.

Still, this fact remains: When you have 999 HP (Full HP) during a battle in Color Splash, do an exact search for the value 4479C000 and you are guaranteed to find only two results pop up. Take some damage and poke one of those values with the original value and your health will return. Find the right pointer and you're sure to make an Infinite HP code.
