Hacking Question Possible to skip NSP generation and just download NCA straight to SD?

Hi,

would it be possible to:

1) Use CDNSP and download the NCA files straight to the SD card
2) Register the game on the internal storage


This would cut out the entire .nsp creation and save me alot of time on my 400GB SD card
Also, it would allow me to install a large game, when my SD is nearly full and can only just fit that game.


Just thinking of optimizing the flow here, as extracting the entire NSP again after first packaging it, seems to unnecessary.

disable/untick repacking and that should download the NCAs only (IIRC).

Not what you're asking, but my work around for this situation with .CIA files on the 3ds was. do my preplanning ahead of time. install larger games first, then smaller games. Then when i was close to running out of space, what i did was, install a game, then copy the installed files off the card temporarily to clear up space, then installed another game. remove all cia files, then copy those files i copied off earlier back to the card.

This allowed me to maximize the amount of games i installed on a 2gb memory card for a friend.

Ofcourse, if what you asked is possible, that would be much sweeter.
