You can update to 9.0 with the second revision(idek if that is the right word) of Super Smash Bros. It has the 9.0 update. Some older SSB carts have 8.1, though. I forget if the update includes the browser, I think it does.

8.1J, there are no cart updates, no way to update between 9.0-9.2. All I want to do is run Decrypt9! There's no way to retrieve my NAND xorpads currently.

Does OoThax(not the userland one, the gateway entrypoint) require the browser? You could use that to go into the gateway menu and downgrade to 4.5, if you are on o3DS(XL).

This, but only on O3ds

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You know what? That won't work, the downgrade will fail :( but I think you can run the decypt9 launcher from the OOT or CN entrypoint

@delebile are you testing your port on a new 3DS? @Steveice10's port of FBI to Ninjhax 2.0 doesn't work for n3ds
It actually isn't really a port. I found that libkhax actually still works on Ninjhax2.x/etc on an O3DS, so I enabled my code for gaining service access when launched these ways. libkhax will likely need fixing to work on N3DS through newer hax, and I don't know about Brahma.

That is some interesting insight. Heck, it might still work on newer firmware with little to no modification if there was a new exploit found (emphasizing so as to not make hype)

As far as I know @Myria is the developer of libkhax, isn't she?

Giving it a try on my n3ds 9.0 (sysnand), using tubehax as my Cubic Ninja cart has ninjhax 1.x installed and I never got ironhax working. I built the .3dsx from your github, I have an old arm9payload.bin already on my sd card from the original brahma, but if I load that and then try to run payload, it says "Unexpected error" every time. Same if I don't load the payload first, I don't remember if it's meant to have a built in one or anything. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a sign of n3ds incompatibility?

please send me the files to try them on my o3DS

I doubt it could work on newer firmwares with little to no modification. libkhax's current code is for running the existing exploit, so a new exploit would require a whole new implementation. It might be able to reuse some of its extra utilities though.

Oh, sorry then! Thanks for the info :)

Out of curiosity why doesn't libkhax work on n3ds with ninjhax 2.x?

If I had to guess, I would assume it's related to timing with the Ninjhax 2.x speed boost. Just a guess, though.
Ah that would make sense... Can you schedule interrupts to fix that? Or is that beyond the scope of the level that libkhax runs on? Or am I just stupid and thinking one thing is another again, assuming that's the problem anyways

If it's any help, this is the error resulting in N3DS
