Are you willing or able to share more about that? No, shadownand is (going to be) a stage2 CFW. But I already am using a completed one![]()

What he said :0Are you willing or able to share more about that?![]()
It's very stable (at least it was for me, and 3 other people), it just doesn't have the cfw yet.Waiting for a stable release![]()
My pronouns are "salt/salt/salts"just use "their"

Sounds good, I just created this poll and added a bunch of info as I went, as people were asking a bunch of questionsAlso, I see there's a lot of misconception and a metric shit ton of questions regarding ShadowNAND so I'll be creating an official thread in about a day or two, answering questions and taking input from the community.
EDIT: Completed stage2 CFW?..
It's literally just an a9lh installer at the moment, but is just slightly safer.Without a hard mod no
ShadowNAND is just an A9LH installer atm. When the stage2 cfw comes out, it will most likely be region free, as we think it is based off saltfw, which is based off luma. I'm not sure about region changing however. How does ShadowNAND handle region changed consoles? If it has good support I'll consider it if I ever set up a9lh.

yea it seems very risky to mess with stage2...Without a hard mod no
I'll just stick to AuReiNand then (I'm using an older version from before the change to Luma3DS, since that supports secureinfo reading).ShadowNAND is just an A9LH installer atm. It isn't a cfw yet. Just an a9lh installer. I installed it just fine, it's very stable, to my knowledge.yea it seems very risky to mess with stage2...
I would only install it without hardmod when its tested and confirmed stable.
As of now, it is a version of A9LH. It lets you boot up arm9loaderhax.bin, safe_mode.bin (if you do anything to corrupt stage2) and provides error messages when booting without sd card/without arm9loaderhax.bin. In later versions, it will install a version of SaltFW to your NAND, so you can boot without your sd card.

Well the feature list says protections from stage 2 damage/corruption. What would cause that? What do you mean?
That's mostly intended for developers then who may want to try installing their own stage2, if I had to guess.Well the feature list says protections from stage 2 damage/corruption. What would cause that?

Of course, and you can use it as "safe_mode.bin" too.Can I still use ctrbootmanager9 with this?
