[Poll] What do you think of ads on websites

I'm pretty sure all of us knows that ads are important for many websites.
But what do you think of 'em?
Or do you use adblock?
If yes, do you use the acceptable ads program?

And one more thing. This is just a poll, not anything to make temp stop having ads, or anything like that, just making it clear.

Adblock since I heard of the concept however many years ago, and installed on every computer I have set up or come into contact with since unless explicitly asked not to (has happened, usually resolved by teaching the person how to turn it it off temporarily if they encounter a badly coded site). Never had the slightest twinge in my morality circuits. Only problem I have had is when I come into contact with a machine without it I realise how many there are.
I read about the acceptable ads before it hit, turned them off on every machine I have installed or come into contact with as well.

With that said I find the advert industry a fascinating thing to read about. Partially as a know your enemy but mostly because it is a massive scam on a scale not seen since fashion and I love scams.

i use adblock on nearly all wesbsites except my piracy websites, and i only use the best, and they know how to detect adblock and deny me service.

I don't use adblock or anything like it. I'm okay with ads,
but when they have malicious pop-ups I might use adblock
