Hey, be happy both supports backwards compatibility, except Nintendo does it better. PSvita has those sweet PSX and PSP games like final fantasy and umm... Castlevania, and.... the others. If ps2 was possible, we got a deal breaker for 3DS maybe, but the NES, SNES, TG-16 GG, GB, GBC, GBA, NDS, 3DS, (hoping for megadrive and master system and neo geo)

What about emulators? Hmmm With homebrew they both got thoses, but mostly need it for something the system doesn't alreday support.

Nah all that matters is the games and system features. To be honest i wish the vita had a UMD drive, at least to play PSP games, and not have to buy them from PSN which by the way can't even play ALL OF THEM O_O
Meanwhile 3DS can play any NDS game cart you already have, including flash carts. Now if someone can make flashcart for VIta... oh wait vitamin.... well 3DS and nds flashcarts still popular.

The probem is most of people attention (even sony) is focused on other things. More people are focused on 3DS than vita. But i don't think the vita is a bad system, i lacks proper support. Before sega gave up, they went down fighting to the very end. Sony seem to didn't try too hard with vita. Releasing PSTV or new model PSvita wasn't helpful, the psp like av out tv cable would have been better. But i do like using a controller to play games and not always needing to use the small button on the mobile device.

Is a beefed up PSP with dual analog sticks, motion control, touch screen and rear touch pad, and camera for augmented reality. Having the super encrypted file system made it look bad for one thing, Overpriced Priority memory cards was another bad thing, and lack of consistent update content (either consistent games or actual content for games) and to me personally is lack of exclusive games. Most games are already for ps3 or ps4 with the cross play support to keep saves between consoles so you can contine games outside of home on mobile and continue at home on TV. Yeah sounds great, even online multiplayer had play with PS3 or PS4 consoles. But Where is my dedicated PSvita game? You don't give people much of a reason to buy something if you have something that can do what you offer, way better or preferred.

3DS has more exclusive games that isn't wii or wii u port. I know there is games which are already ports of existing ones but i mean it still has more 3DS ONLY games than the ported ones. Vita has more multi ports than exlusive games, bad call. If sony just made games only availble on PSvita then i'm sure people would sell more system and games.

I really hope that homebrew devs can make PSP, PS1, retro emulators and all that charade to work without the PS1/PSP game exploits. SNES emulator runs so slow on PSTV via the PSP mode.

Dead and will never have the lvl of homebrew made like the psp did. All the people who would be making brew now become small indie devs for ios and droid. Not as much intrest in making brew for free anymore when freemeium is all the rage

They...mostly have already? Only big thing missing is a better N64 emulator and PSP/PS1 support, but that's only because we still haven't seen a PSPemu exploit. Other than that, most of the popular retro consoles already have working native Vita emulators that run games full speed on Henkaku.
