Not really at all. What RNG does Chess have besides deciding who is white and who is black?Well, basically, any RPG or tactical game out there are just stupid RPG chess. Even chess itself.

Read my post again. I was asking about Chess.RNG decides quite a lot of things like what gender the Pokemon is going to be how many ivs it's going to have if it's going to be shiny or not.

Then what RNG does Pokemon have besides accurately predict opponent's moves and some procs ?Not really at all. What RNG does Chess have besides deciding who is white and who is black?
The chance for many moves to hit, the chance for secondary effects to take effect, the precise damage each move deals, the chance that a Pokémon will wake up from sleep or snap out of confusion; many things that directly impact the outcome of a battle. Then what RNG does Pokemon have besides accurately predict opponent's moves and some procs ?
You can predict the chance for all of those things. It just takes a tremendous amount of computing power on your part. Just like in chess, there's always a chance that things can go wrong, no matter how small or big that chance is. That's why I sarcastically responded to his sarcastic post earlier. I hope your comments are sarcastic too, cause, you know, if not....The chance for many moves to hit, the chance for secondary effects to take effect, the precise damage each move deals, the chance that a Pokémon will wake up from sleep or snap out of confusion; many things that directly impact the outcome of a battle.
Ah, so you have no idea what you're talking about, thanks for clearing that up.You can predict the chance for all of those things. It just takes a tremendous amount of computing power on your part. Ah, so you had no idea what we were talking about, and just decided to jump your nose in like a pro. Thanks for clearing that up.Ah, so you have no idea what you're talking about, thanks for clearing that up.
When you're about to checkmate your opponent but they survive with 1 HP an OHKO you.Not really at all. What RNG does Chess have besides deciding who is white and who is black?
Shedinja is the only pokemon that CAN have wonderguard, hehe. I think you mean wonderguard + spiritomb. Even that hackmon is a joke, though. It can still take damage from poison, weather, and all sorts of thing. Plus, with the new fairy type, it has a weakness now, so fairy type moves can hit it. I know what you meant, just got a chuckle out of it. =PDoes it really matter? Some players couldn't care less about meticulously raising their Pokemon, no matter how easy Gamefreak makes it. But said player could be completely interested in competitive battles. Is that really so bad, if they just generate some 6IV Mewtwos and make a team out of it? So long as they aren't creating things outside of the game's legit rules (Shedinja+Wonderguard) it really makes no difference.
Heh, yeah that's what I meant. It's been too long since I've played a Pokemon game seriously, what a rookie mistake, I'm ashamed!Shedinja is the only pokemon that CAN have wonderguard, hehe. You say that you're at a disadvantage against players who have perfect IV Pokémon, but breeding 5IV Pokémon isn't very difficult at all. If you're not willing to breed to the point where your whole team is 5IV, then you're going to be at a disadvantage against those who take the time to brred a competitive team legitimately regardless. Those who gen are just trying to save time, but it sounds like you're not willing to take the time to make a competitive team either. Time and time again you have failed to demonstrate how genning legal Pokémon gives anyone an advantage, or how its use is wrong in a meaningful sense; you can't just say "it's just wrong".~snip~
I hate it when that happens. When you're about to checkmate your opponent but they survive with 1 HP an OHKO you.
