Gaming Polishing gameboy micro faceplates?

Recently started restoring a gameboy micro from Germany, front faceplate could use a little TLC.
Are there any good guides or methods for doing a restoration?

As a rule, I haven't found that there is much to do about the scratches. Replacement faceplates are available though.

Its slim pickings for faceplates, no one carries the green ones.

That seems like the most active place for GBA Micro Faceplates.....

Both Ebay and RCG carry a couple custom faceplates, but only Aliexpress list a green reproduction faceplate, sadly, no resellers for it and Ali MOQ is over $100
